If you haven't pre-ordered before, it may not sound very convincing. "You want me to give you my money now and then wait before I receive my order? Ha!" The fact is, pre-orders are a great way for smaller businesses to grow without the need to take on huge loans and/or give up a portion of the business. But why are pre-orders good for you?
Aside from receiving a discount in return for your patience, you are also welcome to request a refund at any stage. Just remember, the earlier you order, the heavier the discount will be; if you know you're going to order a watch in the future anyway, get in early. We keep about 10% of the watches off of the site during the pre-order phase as a safety buffer in case of any major issues, but once we've carried out our own inspection on each and every watch, they will be put on the site at full price.
We are just a small brand trying to make a name for ourselves. We work with manufacturing partners and a developer that have worked with some of the biggest brands in the industry. We're the first Kickstarter-funded brand our developer has worked with that has gone back into production more than once after a Kickstarter campaign, but we are still only able to produce our watches in minimum quantities at this point in time. Not only does this mean that we join the back of the queue when going into production, but it also costs us around 5-10x as much to create a comparable watch than other, more notable brands.

Anyone that pre-orders is welcome to a full refund at any time. Only once your order ships do our standard terms kick in.
This has been known to happen. Just make sure you keep us updated with any change of address by sending us an email, and ensure that you opt to receive our updates when you checkout so that when we are eventually ready to ship, we can give you a bit of a prompt to get your new address to us.
In this scenario, we won’t ship your order until both are in stock, but if you would particularly like the in-stock Cambio to be shipped first, just send us a message and we will do just that.
The Cambio is water resistant to 5ATM which means they can be subjected to light splashes/moisture. We wouldn’t recommend getting any leather strap wet at all, though, as that will significantly shorten the lifespan of the strap.
The Cambio doesn't differ from any other watch in that way; it just takes a little longer to realise. It should be obvious that the battery needs replacing 10-30 minutes after it's stopped working.
We prefer to have midday at the top of the dial so the hand follows the rising and setting of the sun.
Standard shipping is $10. If you're just ordering a strap, it's $5.

Yes. The buyer is ultimately responsible for any fees or taxes due on their deliveries once they arrive at their destination, though.
Australian orders will ship within 2 business days of ordering and international orders made by Wednesday will ship on the Friday. You should expect to receive your watch within 2 to 5 business days of despatch for Australian orders and 5 to 20 days for international orders.
New Zealand: 3 to 5 business days from the date of despatch
Hong Kong, Singapore, China: 5 to 11 business days from the date of despatch
Rest of Asia: 5 to 13+ business days from the date of despatch
France, Germany, UK: 3 to 9 business days from the date of despatch
Rest of Europe: 9 to 13+ business days from the date of despatch
Canada & USA: 7 to 11 business days from the date of despatch
Rest of the world: 9 to 13 business days from the date of despatch

We will then refund the value of your item (via the original form of payment) within 7 days of receiving and accepting the returned item in the same condition in which it was shipped. Your watch is covered for one year.
If you believe your product has a manufacturing defect, please contact us so we can make it right at email@example.com and provide your order number with photos of the suspected issue.
Please note, returns are only accepted for items purchased directly from our website.
Warranty claims require a proof of purchase, including watches that have been gifted.
Once we have received your claim, if the covered component proves to be defective in material or craftsmanship under normal use, it will be repaired or the watch will be replaced free of repair charges. We aim to process your claim within the week of receiving it.
During the warranty period, your watch is covered against manufacturing defects. This means that if the materials in your watch aren't right or if the watch isn't put together correctly, we'll repair or replace it.
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper handling, lack of care, accidents including scratching, bouncing, falling, or normal wear and tear and defects of internal or external components due to contact with water or moisture. All our watches are 5ATM which means they can only be subjected to light splashes/moisture.
The warranty will be voided in the case of a third party performing repair works or other works on the watch without first contacting us and obtaining approval.
